Meet our staff . . .

  • The Rev. Susan Nelson-Colaneri, Pastor

Weather permitting, Pastor Susan can be found outside most Sunday mornings, smiling and greeting worshipers as they arrive. If the weather is inclement, you can be sure she's right inside the front door waiting for your arrival.

A second career pastor, Susan administered a private physical therapy practice for 18 years and then was Director of Parish Education at a large congregation in NJ for 6 years while she attended seminary. She has a B.S. in Music Education from NYU where she met her husband, opera conductor Joseph Colaneri; she received her Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. Pastor Susan has a passionate interest in parish education for all ages, liturgy and music, and the arts in shaping and nurturing faith and spiritual growth.

  • Francis Yun, Interim Summer Musician

Holy Trinity welcomes Francis Yun as our interim summer musician . . .

Francis Yun began playing the harpsichord while still a serious student of piano. He soon became enamored with the expressive capabilities of the harpsichord and became passionate about the music of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. He has performed throughout the United States in both solo and chamber recitals and has served as a continuo player for many orchestras, including The New York Strings Orchestra, Apollo’s Fire, and Juilliard 415. Francis is an advocate for new music written for the harpsichord and has commissioned several new works for the instrument. He has appeared as soloist with the University of Michigan Symphony Orchestra where he premiered a new harpsichord concerto. Francis recently received his Graduate Diploma in Historical Performance at the Juilliard School. While an undergraduate student,

Francis was a musician in a Presbyterian church where he accompanied services and lead the choir. He resides in Long Island, New York.

Meet our council . . .

Church Council members are elected by the congregation at our annual congregation meeting. Council members may serve two consecutive terms (usually three years each). These are the people who are charged with facilitating various ministries, casting a vision for mission along with our pastor, and guiding and leading the stewardship of our gifts--time, talent and treasure.

Among our council members we have a wealth of experience, knowledge and a "go to it" attitude. Oh, and we also have fun at Council Meetings!
